AXION 2 XG35 LRF thermal imaging device
Robust magnesium alloy body
Improved image processing algorithms
Axion 2 thermal imagers use a new approach to image optimization that provides high-quality rendering of both target objects and background, depending on the purpose and conditions of observation. Three levels of signal amplification combined with an associated smoothing filter and finely tunable brightness and contrast settings provide the hunter with great opportunities to spot the animal at long range in different weather and temperature conditions and determine its trophy quality.
Robust magnesium alloy body
The Axion is designed for constant, often tough use. The magnesium alloy body is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device against shock, falling, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise and increases the operational stability of the device during long-term observations.
Built-in precision laser range finder
In order to make the right decisions, it is important to estimate the distance of the target accurately. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer lets you measure the distance in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter, allowing you to quickly and accurately assess the situation.
Highly sensitive Lynred sensor with 640x480 pixels
The Axion 2 is equipped with a European Lynred sensor, which records a signal of usable quality even under difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog and high humidity at the observation site.
F35/1.0 lens with large aperture
The F35/1.0 germanium lens offers high transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the sensor of the Axion 2 thermal imaging device is distinguished by its clarity and detail.
Extended battery life. Up to 11 hours on one battery charge
A high-capacity, rechargeable APS5 battery provides 11 hours of continuous thermal imaging on a single charge. The battery is removed from the battery case and replaced with a new one in seconds. The battery is charged in a dedicated device or within the device from a PC, AC power system or power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used to externally power a thermal imaging device.
Improved Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4 / 5 GHz band support
With the Axion 2 thermal imagers, the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection is supplemented by an effective 5 GHz range via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel. The 5 GHz connection provides better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise immunity and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imager with a smartphone.
1750 m detection range
A powerful F35/1.0 lens combined with a highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor offers exceptional shooting possibilities. A standard object 1.8 m high can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 1750 m.
Pocket-sized and lightweight
The Axion 2 XQ has a pocket-sized, space-saving design and weighs 350 grams. The symmetrical design and button placement on the top make the device easy to hold and operate for both right- and left-handed users.
Waterproof according to IPX7
Waterproof to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow or other types of moisture. The device is designed to function properly even when submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
Built-in photo and video recorder. Free 16 GB cloud storage space
The Axion 2 has a built-in video recorder. The Axion 2's internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. One push of a button is enough to take a picture of an interesting subject or start a video recording. The recordings are copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C connection. Axion 2 owners have 16GB of storage space to store photos and videos captured with the device in Pulsar cloud storage. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.
High-contrast AMOLED screen
The high-contrast AMOLED screen with VGA resolution has improved color reproduction, is energy-efficient and responsive, and delivers sharp and smooth images even in frost.
Remote control via a smartphone and software update with the Stream Vision 2 app
The integrated WiFi connects the Axion 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. B. wireless software updates of the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, posting photo and video content taken with the device on social media or transmission to messenger applications, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Also, registered users get 16GB of cloud storage for photos and videos captured with the device.
A choice of 8 color palettes
A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks and react to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot and Red-Hot are optimal for detecting an object, Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best for long night observations.
