2. Silencer Hausken JAKT JD 184 XTRM MK2
This is what the JD 184 XTRM MK2 offers. The silencer only lengthens the weapon by 10 cm and still offers the suppression performance of its big brother, the JD 224*. The JD 184 XTRM MK2 weighs only 313 g. It is the ideal dampener for weapons in standard calibers such as .308 Win. or 8x57 IS. Thanks to the use of high-alloy aluminum, this very compact damper is even suitable for use with magnum calibers. This silencer is not suitable for weapons with open sights. Maximum barrel outer diameter is 23 mm.
All Hausken silencers are made of high-alloy aluminum and are manufactured on the most modern machines. Each part is hard anodized for maximum durability. 6. KEILER GEAR silencer cover mountain loden olive/concamo M 195mm
We wanted to develop a lightweight, versatile silencer cover for hunting purposes that would fit snugly on the silencer, yet be easy to install. At the same time, the cover should also be usable as a forearm rest.
The hunting silencer cover is therefore simply wrapped around the silencer or the forearm and fixed with three flexible straps. These are pulled over the buttons sewn on the side. The cover can therefore be assembled/disassembled in < 30 seconds.
One side consists of 500D Cordura, which was manufactured in Germany according to Bundeswehr TL. The other consists of Bergloden from German production. Due to the flexible attachment, the cover has no inside/outside and can therefore always be mounted with the desired side facing out.
The cover should be mounted in such a way that the overlapping layers are arranged on the top, so the cover also fulfills the function of a mirage band and significantly reduces the mirage effect.
The muffler cover significantly reduces the surface temperature of the muffler. In our test series, we measured temperature differences of 37.5°C between the surface of the silencer and the surface of the silencer cover immediately after firing.
