With the PDP F series, Carl Walther GmbH is expanding its successful pistol model series and is once again setting standards in the world of service pistols. The PDP F-Series is the first service pistol that was specifically developed for women. A completely new firing pin locking system has been implemented without compromise in order to reduce the effort required for the slide trigger.
Grip circumference, trigger range and the entire grip ergonomics have been adapted to the shape of the female hand. The uniquely shaped grip is pure Walther DNA. The improved ergonomics result in perfect hand positioning to realize a perfect, high grip that reduces recoil sensation and minimizes muzzle blast. All other advantages of the PDP such as the groundbreaking PDT trigger, the SuperTerrain teeth or the Performance Duty texture are elementary components of the PDP F-Series. And of course all pistol models of the F-series are already "Red Dot Ready" from the factory!
The introduction of the F-Series' optimized trigger position makes excellent trigger control easier than ever. The F-Series trigger has been moved to a location where each hand can find the perfect trigger finger position. Proper trigger finger placement is key to accurate shooting and trigger control. Ergonomics: Perfectly designed for a female shooter
The F-Series grip was designed from the ground up to fit the contours of a woman's hand. It's narrower where it needs to be, giving the shooter maximum control and faster follow-up shots.
The RDS (Red Dot Sight) ergonomics of the Walther PDP were developed to make the transition to the popular red dot sight system easier for new RDS shooters and faster for RDS veterans. RDS ergonomics are designed to allow the shooter to instantly locate the red dot, which is achieved through little finger pressure and underhand support. The grip angle of the PDP F-Series was developed for a natural aiming position which, in combination with the innovative RDS ergonomics, enables lightning-fast red point acquisition.
