Walther PDP Full Size 4.5" with colored grip
With the Walther PDP (Performance Duty Pistol), the traditional company from Ulm is promoting a completely new generation of pistols.
For the first time since the incredibly successful launch of the new Walther flagship, Walther is pleased to offer the Performance Duty pistols in new color options. There are three grip colors to choose from: OD Green, Tungsten Gray and Flat Dark Earth. A unique contrast is created in combination with the bolt, barrel and control elements, which are all in black.
The pistol impresses with its striking exterior. There are deep through-loading grooves on both the front and the back of the lock. This means that the charging process remains a safe affair in all weathers. The completely redesigned grip has a pyramid-shaped texture (Performance Duty Texture) and contributes to the outstanding handling. The backstraps, which are available in different sizes (S, M, L), are also provided with this texture. Not too sharp to hurt in high series or to "tear" on clothing, but aggressive enough to achieve perfect grip at all times. The curved shape at the end of the handle gives the little finger support and supports intuitive interpretation.
All models of the PDP series have a slide catch lever on both sides, a reversible magazine button and come Optics Ready with a milled top side of the slide for various - optionally available - adapter plates for red dot sights from the brands Docter, Noblex, Meopta, Trijicon, Holosun, Riton, Axion, Leupold, SIG Sauer or vortex.
Anyone who wants to aim in the "classic" way using the rear sight and front sight can do so using the sights that are compatible with GLOCK. Co-witness sights are possible. The standard sight is adjustable in height and side by default. Further practical accessories can be attached to the Picatinny rail.
The trigger breaks at the pressure point like glass with a trigger weight of 25 N. The short reset allows consistent top performance from shot to shot. Both together create the conditions for controlled hitting and safe trigger control in every situation and from shot to shot.
The result of the perfect grip angle and the interplay of total weight, weight distribution and balance is the excellent reading behavior. The weapon intuitively follows the line of sight of the target eye.
The stepped cartridge chamber ensures significantly better leaning and thus less contamination of the polygon barrel.
