The new Mercury Tactical Evo is the result of several years of development work

The new Mercury Tactical Evo is the result of several years of development work and was designed for those who want to rely on the highest levels of durability, reliability and precision. The locking system has been completely redesigned and, thanks to the fine polishing of all contact surfaces, offers soft and quiet repeating operations that are second to none. The new extractor guarantees clean functioning and reliable ejection even if the sleeve is deformed.
What makes the Mercury Tactical Evo really unique is the fact that the shutter is installed completely over the stock. It is completely detached from the shaft and is only held in place by two straps. This prevents any form of connection tension and thus increases your precision enormously.
Another special feature is the 28 mm thick barrel: through the further development of the award-winning Multi-Radial Rifling® technology, the weapon achieves even higher performance levels. With multi-radial barrels, two long-proven designs complement each other: tension field and polygon. By combining the strengths of both barrel types, the lifespan of the barrel is extended and sharp corners and edges that quickly become dirty are a thing of the past. Up to 12% higher speed is achieved with standard pressures. The bullet fills the barrel better and prevents valuable gas pressure from escaping. At the same time, the friction between the bullet and the barrel is reduced to a minimum. The special barrel geometry allows your bullet to emerge more stable, faster and ultimately more precise. The barrel comes with a 5/8" x 24 muzzle thread, allowing easy installation of accessories such as muzzle brakes.
The fiberglass reinforced plastic shaft was specially developed for the closure. The surface is specially coated: It offers better grip, scratch resistance and a special, unusual appearance. Accessories can be quickly and easily attached to the 5/8" x 24 UNEF muzzle thread.
The new Mercury Evo is a thoroughly modern rifle. It is technologically leading and beautiful to look at - but above all one thing: highly precise.
