With the BRX-1, the requirements that a straight-pull bolt-action rifle must meet, such as For example, a fast, smooth repeating process and reliable system functionality as well as high precision even with fast firing sequences are taken into account and implemented in an innovative way. The high magazine capacity, even with the magnum calibers, and the possibility of quick magazine changes once again show the current zeitgeist of the company. The barrel of the rifle has a black finish and is made from cold-hammered, high-performance steel. Great importance was also attached to a high level of inherent precision, which is achieved through fine tuning of the various elements and an exact coaxial bedding of the barrel axis and cartridge chamber. The stable and particularly large barrel bed ensures that even after changing the barrel, there are only minimal deviations in the point of impact. The bolt is based on the proven, military Beretta assault rifles, which have always prioritized durability and reliability. The straight-pull closure installed here was built with 8 lugs for the standard caliber and with 16 double lugs for the magnum caliber to ensure maximum durability and functionality. BRX1 closure system

The breech is based on the system of the military Beretta assault rifles, maximum resilience and reliability have top priority here.
The real straight-pull bolt uses a rotating bolt head with 8 stable lugs for standard calibers and 16 lugs arranged in a double row for the magnum calibres.
This bolt system (both standard and magnum versions) has successfully passed the most extreme NATO stress and pressure tests. The gas pressure tests that are customary for military weapons, sometimes with additional running obstacles, are significantly more demanding than in the purely civilian area.
