At the lower end of the magnification there is a real 1-fold magnification, through which the glass behaves like a red dot in combination with the illuminated reticle. The 10x magnification at the other end, on the other hand, allows long-range shots.
The Vortex Razor HD Gen III 1-10x24 is perfect for the AR platform. A 34 mm center tube, made from a piece of aircraft aluminum, and the Vortex Amortek coating make the rifle scope extremely robust and scratch-resistant. And that with almost the same weight as the Razor HD 1-6x24.
